Synopsis
The Swing Out club had come full circle from its near closure five years ago. The Diva had saved the club from going under when she had bought the club from the owner and MC, Fitzroy P. Dunsworth III.
Of course, none of this was common knowledge. As far as anyone knew, he was still the owner/MC and she was still the headline singer of the joint. Fitzroy had made many bad investments and had been using the club to support his lifestyle instead of investing in the business.
With Diva’s guidance and show stopping sets, the club had become a hub again. Musicians from all over were lining up to become a part of the roster to perform on the main stage. It was now the place where you wanted to be seen. On any given night, there was no telling who would turn up to “jam” or to be a part of the listening audience.
The story you are going to be part of is a moment in the lives of some of the people who make up the Swing Out club. As well as Fitzroy and Diva, the players include Dinah, Emma and Tony. Dinah is the young and up coming starlet who would do almost anything to get to be the main singer. Emma is a young and impressionable singer who had once succumbed to Fitzroy’s charms. Tony is Fitzroy’s right hand man who is in love with Emma.
Tonight was going to be the end of Fitzroy’s and Diva’s partnership, both business and personal. She had always suspected that he harassed the girls who got up to the mike for favors. Fitzroy had finally gone too far! Things were finally going to come to a head tonight…
