Returning with their fifth highly anticipated Carnival show - this year called SHINE! - 3canal’s message is simple:

"We are here to shine our light
Keep your fire burning bright
Never give up, it will be alright
Life is full of ups and downs
We are here to carry on
Never give up, don’t stop – nah leggo!"
- Never Give Up/Nah Leggo

Juxtaposed against the poems of Martin Carter, backed by the rhythm and music of the Cut & Clear Crew, with choreography from Dave Williams and vocal direction by Glenda McSween Collens, SHINE features well-known 3canal hits alongside new anthems from their upcoming 2008 CD release in a vibrant spectacle of song and dance.

SHINE plays at the Queen’s Hall in St Anns, beginning with a Preview performance on Saturday 26 January at 8pm; school show on Sunday 27 at 6pm (both for $100), and Opening Night Gala Fundraiser on Monday 28 at 7pm ($300 general, $350 reserved). For the remainder of the run, Tuesday 29 January – Saturday 2 February, shows begin at 8pm and tickets are $225 general admission and $275 reserved. NB.
